The iPhone 16 lineup is expected to include four models: the standard iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. One of the key features rumored for the new series is Apple Intelligence, the company’s proprietary AI technology that will enable on-device AI capabilities like an emoji generator, enhanced photo editing, suggested text and email responses, and more.

Another exciting addition to the iPhone 16 is a new physical Capture button that will allow users to quickly take photos or record videos. The button is rumored to support force-sensitive half-press actions for features like locking exposure, adjusting focus, and zooming in or out.

The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models are expected to feature larger displays, with 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch screens respectively, compared to the current 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays on the iPhone 15 Pro models. The cameras on the Pro models will also see improvements, including the addition of a tetraprism from the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s telephoto lens to both Pro models, and a potential increase in the ultra-wide lens resolution from 12 megapixels to 48 megapixels.

All four iPhone 16 models will be equipped with the new A18 processor and 8GB of memory to support Apple Intelligence features and ensure long battery life.

In addition to the iPhone 16 series, Apple is also expected to unveil new Apple Watch models, including the Watch Series 10, Watch Ultra 3, and a more affordable Watch SE. Rumors also suggest that Apple may introduce the second-generation AirPods Max and two new AirPods models.

The event will be livestreamed on Apple’s website, TV app, and YouTube channel. It will also serve as a platform for Apple to announce the official release date for iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS Sequoia, watchOS 11, and other major operating systems.
