When you buy a new smartphone, you find many preinstalled apps that are not very helpful. Manufacturers always ask you to use those apps instead of downloading similar apps of your choice. Not all the preinstalled apps are harmful for your phone, but they occupy storage space and system resources. You should delete those apps for security and privacy purposes.
1)Open Settings.
2)Go to Apps and Notification.
3)Open All Apps.
4) Uninstall those apps you won’t use.
If there is no option to delete the preinstalled apps, disable them. If you don’t even get the option to disable, go through the following procedures :-
1) Go to About Phone in settings and tap Build Number 7 times.
2) Go to System option of Settings. You will now find new developer menu options.
3) Enable USB debugging.
4) Install Android Studio Developer tool in your computer.
5) Connect your phone with your computer via USB. Open Powershell window from the Android Studio folder. Open Terminal window if you use Mac and not Windows.
6) Run the command “.\adb devices” once the window is open. It will initiate a link.
7) Run the command “adb shell” to take control over your android phone.
8) Run the final command “pm uninstall -k –user 0 < put here the package name of the app you want to delete>”
It is not very difficult to get rid of the preinstalled apps as it seems. Even if you are a non techy, you will be able to to that by following the simple steps mentioned above.
