Google’s grand plan of revamping Google Lens

Over the last few years, Google Lens has become much smarter than what it used to be initially. The image recognition technology has been integrated with some of the top services such as Search, Photos and Camera. This integration of services has been possible with the push from the company. Recently, it’s been reported that Google will be working to include the Lens feature in the Image search option.

For some Android device’s Images tab, Google Lens has started appearing in Google, according to reports by 9to5Google. If you tap on the icon, the camera will open and allow you to either import an already existing picture or let you look up a real product. When you tap on the button, you’ll see the prompt saying “Search With Your Camera Or Photos”.

Google Lens turns three in 2020 and the new update could just be a part of Google’s grand plan of revamping the Lens. A new logo of Google Lens was also spotted in the in Google Photos last month. This new Google Lens logo is likely to available on Google services such as Google Assistant and others.
