Jackson has lost about 25 pounds over the past two years, including a 10-pound reduction since last season. He mentioned that he\u2019s now at the weight he was during his 2019 MVP season.<\/p>\n<p>Jackson seems to be adjusting well to his lighter frame. He also felt that the extra weight made him slower and caused him to get tired more quickly.<\/p>\n<p>Jackson had previously expressed a desire to be more agile this season. He noted that the additional weight contributed to fatigue, especially when moving around on the field.<\/p>\n<p>While Jackson wasn\u2019t truly overweight or out of shape in the past\u2014he had gained weight to better absorb hits from defenders\u2014it\u2019s uncertain how this weight loss will impact his performance this season.
