While the <strong>Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI)<\/strong> has not yet made an official announcement, franchises have been informally informed about the expected schedule.<\/p>\n<p>Last year\u2019s auction was held in Dubai, and this year, after considering other locations such as <strong>London<\/strong> and <strong>Singapore<\/strong>, the <strong>Middle East<\/strong> remains the preferred region for the event. <strong>Saudi Arabia<\/strong> was chosen due to its <strong>favourable time zone<\/strong>, which works well for broadcasting purposes.<\/p>\n<p>Sources close to the matter indicate that the BCCI and IPL officials are in the <strong>final stages<\/strong> of finalizing the venue.
