Rishabh Pant<\/a>, gearing up for his much-anticipated return to the IPL later this month<\/a>, is eyeing a potential comeback for India in the T20 World Cup, provided he can resume wicketkeeping duties, according to BCCI<\/a> secretary Jay Shah.<\/p>\n

Shah expressed optimism about Pant\u2019s fitness, stating, \u201cHe is batting well, he is keeping well. We will declare him fit very soon.\u201d He emphasized Pant\u2019s significance to the team, highlighting the possibility of his inclusion in the T20 World Cup squad if he can maintain his wicketkeeping form.<\/a><\/p>\n

Pant has been sidelined since a serious car accident in December 2022, which resulted in a severe right knee injury necessitating ligament reconstruction surgery, along with a fractured wrist and ankle.<\/p>\n
