PV Sindhu had suffered demoralising defeat against Ratchanok Intanon a week ago, and there is no chance for her to enter into the World Champion this time too as she got defeated again 18-21 13-21 against third-seeded Thai.<\/p>\n
Against Wang Tzu Wei Srikant savoured head-to-head 3-0 count ahead of the match but it didn\u2019t lasted long as the world no 12 Taiwanese claimed a come-from-behind 19-21 21-9 21-19.<\/p>\n
Wang and Srikant both played some good shots to open up a 9-5 lead as the Indian made a poor judgment. As the Srikant made errors at the net it allowed Wang to grab a healthy 11-5 points at the interval.<\/p>\n
Wang simply sealed the game as he was leading 16-6 when Srikant found the net.<\/p>\n
Srikant leading 4-1 but Wang defended his game and made it 8-4 with the seven straight points. However, Srikant bounced back to make it 10-10 but Wang again captured a lead at 17-13.<\/p>\n
Srikant made 16-17 before finding the net and going wide. Again Indian shuttler missed the line as Wang captured four match points. Srikant saved three but went down in the end.<\/p>\n
On Thursday, after losing second round matches in the BWF World Tour Finals, the Indian shuttlers PV Sindhu and Kidambi Srikant were virtually out of the competition for the knockout stage.<\/p>\n
Earlier, before Srikant managed to grab a small 11-10 lead with a smash, Srikant and Wang fought hard right from the start of the game, moving together 5-5 to 9-9.<\/p>\n
The match which involved Sindhu, the dominating world champion went into the game against Ratchanok dogged to make up for her loss.<\/p>\n
Jumping to a 5-2 lead then grabbing an 11-6 lead at the break, Sindhu made a positive start. Anyhow, Ratchanok caught up with four straight points at 14-14.<\/p>\n
Sindhu again moved up 18-17 but lost of four points helped Intanon to gain the upper hand.<\/p>\n
Intanon continued her thrust right from the first game to open up an 11-8 lead at the interval. Sindhu went down it to 11-12 before Ratchanok reeled off six points and sealed the match.<\/p>\n
