Since then, the stylish batsman has risen to the limelight, never seeming to disappoint cricketing fans, whether in the IPL or other domestic leagues. Considered one of India\u2019s finest talents, Jaiswal is on a journey to become a household name in the cricketing fraternity.<\/p>\n

His recent 214-run knock not only completes the Indian team\u2019s search for a left-handed top-order batsman but also highlights the transition of Indian cricket from the likes of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. The team is presently the most inexperienced side fielded by Indian cricket management, with the likes of Kohli, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Ajinkya Rahane, and Cheteshwar Pujara missing from the squad.<\/p>\n

Yashasvi Jaiswal left his village in Uttar Pradesh at the age of 12 to move to Mumbai to fulfill his cricketing dreams. Reports suggest that he lived in a tent outside Azad Maidan for three years before his childhood coach, Jwala Singh, became his guardian and guided the youngster to become a prominent face in Indian cricket.<\/p>\n

Jaiswal relied mainly on club cricket matches to earn his bread and butter. He also worked in a shop in Kalbadevi before being evicted, leaving him struggling. While staying in a tent at Azad Maidan, Jaiswal relied on menial jobs like selling pani-puri and working in shops.<\/p>\n

In 2015, Jaiswal illuminated the cricketing world with a stellar performance, scoring an unbeaten 319 runs and claiming figures of 13\/99 in a Giles Shield match. His remarkable all-around feat in school cricket earned him recognition in the prestigious Limca Book of Records.<\/p>\n

After his standout performance, Jaiswal quickly moved up in Mumbai cricket. He started with the Under-16 team, then made it to the Under-19 squad. Soon, he got his chance in senior cricket, debuting for Mumbai in the 2018\/19 Ranji Trophy season. From there, he never looked back, consistently performing well and achieving great things.<\/p>\n
