The women in blue scored a decent total of 116\/7 in the first innings. Both Smriti Mandana (46 off 40) & Jemimah Rodrigues (42 off 40) gave India a balanced start for the second wicket. unfortunately, the death overs favoured Lankans & the scored was restricted from what was expected.<\/p>\n<p>However, India\u2019s Titas Sadhu broke Sri Lanka\u2019s backbone by taking a double wicket in her first over. She later came back with a bang on by dismissing Lankan skipper Chamari Athapaththu, reducing Sri Lanka to 15\/3.<\/p>\n<p>Rajeshwari Gaikwad did the rest by claiming two crucial wickets and breaking partnership of Hasini Perera & Nilakshi de Silva.
