The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled the highly anticipated schedule for the ODI World Cup 2023. Defending champions England will face New Zealand in the opening match on October 5 in Ahmedabad.<\/p>\n
The prestigious Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, with its massive seating capacity of 1,32,000, will host five matches, including the highly anticipated clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan on October 15.<\/p>\n
The tournament, spanning 46 days, will feature ten teams competing across ten cities. Apart from Ahmedabad, the host cities include Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Dharamsala, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Pune.<\/p>\n
Each venue will host five matches, except for the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, which will host only three league games, with Pakistan playing two matches and New Zealand playing one.<\/p>\n
