Saurashtra batsman Sheldon Jackson finds inspiration in the enduring careers of Dinesh Karthik and MS Dhoni, despite not receiving an India call-up himself.<\/p>\n

Jackson admires the commitment and fitness of both players, who continue to excel in competitive cricket even as they approach the later stages of their careers.<\/p>\n

\u201cI get motivated when I see Dinesh Karthik and MS Dhoni. I was with him (Karthik) at KKR and I have seen his entire transformation. He is a true inspiration for me and at the stage of my career that I am he is a motivation to me.\u201d \u2013\u00a0 to Sportskeeda<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Having observed Karthik\u2019s transformation during their time together at Kolkata Knight Riders, Jackson considers him a true inspiration and a motivation at this stage of his own career. While Jackson\u2019s T20 statistics may not be as impressive as desired, he has consistently performed well in Test matches.<\/p>\n

He expresses puzzlement over his exclusion from the West Zone\u2019s Duleep Trophy squad, noting that if given the opportunity, he believes he can make a significant impact.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you don\u2019t get the chance where you will make an impact? I can never comment on anyone\u2019s selection. I can only ask about me, that why I have not got picked. I will never call a selector and ask why am I not picked.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
