The runner-up and losing semifinalist will receive \u20b93 crore and \u20b91 crore, respectively, up from their erstwhile amounts of \u20b91 crore and \u20b950 lakh.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement was made by BCCI secretary Jay Shah on Sunday, who expressed his pleasure in announcing the increase in prize money for all domestic tournaments.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I\u2019m pleased to announce an increase in prize money for all <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BCCI?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@BCCI<\/a> Domestic Tournaments. With the increase in prize money, the BCCI hopes to motivate players to perform to the best of their abilities and provide them with a better financial incentive to pursue their passion for cricket.<\/p>\n<p>The move will also help in the growth of women\u2019s cricket in India.
