Reportedly Indian cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar expressed displeasure with Australian media reporting regarding pitches during the ongoing India-Australia Test series and even accused some ex-players of making offensive comments.\u201d Gavaskar said, \u201cSteve Smith has said that he enjoys playing and captaining in India because every delivery is a challenge, and everything can change quickly.<\/p>\n
The current Australian players have not said anything, but the noise that has been coming from some of the former players has been disturbing. Considering that we are entering an era of 75 years of India-Australia friendship, some of the ex-players from Australia could not use words that are not quite tasteful.\u201d<\/p>\n
Additionally, Gavaskar pointed out that the pitch was the same for both teams and that the players on both sides found favour at different times.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe pitch was the same for both. So play and accept that when you come overseas, you will not get pitches like at home, but do not use words like skullduggery, doubting the integrity of the Indians,\u201d said Gavaskar<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cNo country can have a monopoly on integrity and honesty.
