{"id":5586,"date":"2023-02-27T14:17:01","date_gmt":"2023-02-27T08:47:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.businessupturn.com\/sports\/?p=283776"},"modified":"2023-02-27T14:17:01","modified_gmt":"2023-02-27T08:47:01","slug":"ind-vs-aus-mitchell-starc-announces-test-comeback-despite-finger-yet-to-recover","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.businessupturn.com\/sports\/cricket\/ind-vs-aus-mitchell-starc-announces-test-comeback-despite-finger-yet-to-recover\/","title":{"rendered":"IND vs AUS: Mitchell Starc announces Test comeback despite finger yet to recover"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mitchell Starc will be troubled by his injured finger for some time, but he is set to make his comeback\u00a0in Indore as Australia is still searching for their first win.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s good enough,\u201d Starc said of his finger. \u201cThere\u2019s going to be a level of discomfort\u2026 I don\u2019t think it is going to be 100% for a little while, but the ball is coming out quite nicely and I feel like I\u2019m pretty much at full tilt.<\/p>\n<p>Starc has been out since dislocating the tip of his middle finger during the Boxing Day Test, which caused tendon damage that will require him to wear a splint for the foreseeable future. However, this will not prevent him from replacing Pat Cummins, who will be unavailable for the third Test.<\/p>\n<div>\u201cIt\u2019s more the discomfort of the joint being restricted having been in a splint for six weeks and still having to be in a splint for another couple of weeks yet. That\u2019s probably the only part \u2013 dealing with the discomfort of it, getting the mobility back into it. That\u2019ll come over the next couple of weeks and it\u2019s progressed again, it\u2019s a progression each day I bowl.
