{"id":5354,"date":"2023-02-01T10:42:35","date_gmt":"2023-02-01T05:12:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.businessupturn.com\/sports\/?p=275779"},"modified":"2023-02-01T10:42:35","modified_gmt":"2023-02-01T05:12:35","slug":"wpl-auctions-set-to-take-place-after-ilt20-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.businessupturn.com\/sports\/cricket\/wpl-auctions-set-to-take-place-after-ilt20-report\/","title":{"rendered":"WPL Auctions set to take place after ILT20: Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Women\u2019s Premier League (WPL) auction, which was supposed to take place in the first week of February, is likely to be postponed to February 11 or 13, according to Cricbuzz.<\/p>\n<p>With four of the five WPL teams participating in the ILT20 \u2013 Reliance\u2019s MI Emirates, Capri Global\u2019s Sharjah Warriors, Adani Group\u2019s Gulf Giants, and Delhi Capitals\u2019 Dubai Capitals (the fifth WPL team is Diageo\u2019s Royal Challengers Bangalore \u2013 representatives from some of the teams prefer the WPL auction following the ILT20.<\/p>\n<p>Some, if not all, of the teams have asked the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to consider scheduling the auction after the ILT20 knockouts so that their focus is not divided.
