Indian cricket team opener Ruturaj Gaikwad has been ruled out of the T20I series against New Zealand starting from today. Ruturaj won\u2019t be seen playing in any of the three games in this series due to wrist injury. He sustained an injury in the practice session and thus BCCI said he won\u2019t be available for the games.<\/p>\n
Ruturaj Gaikwad was also picked in the recent Sri Lankan series but wasn\u2019t seen playing as he didn\u2019t get any chances. However, the Indian opening batter Ruturaj Gaikwad wasn\u2019t expected to be in the Indian cricket team\u2019s starting XI as there are two batters who are in exceptional run of form named Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill.<\/p>\n
Opener Ruturaj Gaikwad\u2019s record in first-class cricket in 2022 was phenomenal and thus he got a chance in the Indian squad for Sri Lanka and New Zealand\u2019s series. The Indian cricket team will play the first T20I against New Zealand on 27th January at JSCA International Stadium, Complex, Ranchi.<\/p>\n
