In Tuesday\u2019s Ranji Trophy match between Mumbai and Assam in Guwahati, opener Prithvi Shaw slammed his second First Class double-century. At the Amingaon Cricket Ground, which is hosting its first First Class match, Assam won the toss and elected to bowl. Shaw reached the milestone after only 235 deliveries.<\/p>\n
Before the lunch break, Shaw raced to his century off just 107 deliveries as he attacked the bowlers with a barrage of boundaries. Shaw has not scored a century in any format since his record-breaking 134 against the same opposition in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in October 2022. This is his first century of the Ranji Trophy season.<\/p>\n
