Kohli\u2019s sharp catch and fired-up reaction ends Gill\u2019s stay<\/h3>\n

Shubman Gill\u2019s innings ended in dramatic fashion in the 4th over\u2019s final ball. Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled a good length delivery outside off at 134.2 kph with a hint of away swing. Gill used his feet and tried to go over the covers but did not get the timing right. The ball went straight to Virat Kohli at cover.<\/p>\n

He slammed the ball into the ground in frustration and let out a loud roar. It was a strong response, reflecting how much the wicket meant after Gill\u2019s aggressive start.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Kohli\u2019s wild throw at the bowler\u2019s end missed and raced to the boundary, with Buttler and Gill sharing a laugh. Later, Kohli made up for it by taking Gill\u2019s catch at cover and reacting with a long stare and an intense celebration.<\/p>\n

Gill was out for 42 off 16 balls, a knock that had already put RCB under pressure early in the chase.<\/p>\n

Gill\u2019s quick start sets tone before RCB strike back<\/h3>\n

Before his dismissal, Shubman Gill had dominated the early overs with clean hitting. He had already taken Josh Hazlewood apart earlier in the spell, scoring freely through the off side and mid-wicket. His 42 came with a mix of timing and control, and he had set Gujarat Titans up for a fast chase.<\/p>\n

Jos Buttler supported him with quick contributions, keeping the scoring rate high. GT looked in control early, with boundaries flowing and the RCB attack under pressure. However, Gill\u2019s dismissal halted the momentum and gave RCB a brief opening back into the game.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the match, RCB were bowled out for 155 in 19.2 overs after a steady collapse. Virat Kohli\u2019s early burst of 28 off 13 balls, including five consecutive boundaries off Kagiso Rabada, gave them a fast start. But he was dismissed soon after, breaking their rhythm.<\/p>\n

Devdutt Padikkal top-scored with 40 off 24, while Rajat Patidar made 19 and Romario Shepherd added 17. Jason Holder and Arshad Khan struck regularly, while Rashid Khan controlled the middle overs.
