Rishabh Pant will likely miss a significant amount of time due to his injuries sustained in a serious car accident on Friday morning (December 30) near Roorkee. The 25-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman collided with a divider in his car on Friday morning close to Roorkee after making his last match appearance for India against Bangladesh in the second Test of a two-match series last week in Dhaka.<\/p>\n
The cricketer suffered several injuries as a result of the tragic accident, but he is currently receiving treatment at Dehradun\u2019s Max Hospital and is not in danger. According to reports, Pant has two wounds on his forehead, a torn ligament in his right knee, and wounds on his right wrist, ankle, and toe. He reportedly also suffered abrasion wounds to his back, right wrist, and right ankle.<\/p>\n
After being in the near-death experience through which Pant fortunately was rescued through his own determination and the good Samaritans \u2013 Haryana Roadways driver Sushil Kumar and conductor Paramjit, Pant requested for a call to mother.<\/p>\n
