New Zealand cricketer Kane Williamson announced on Thursday morning, 15th December that he will not be leading the Test team. Kane Williamson stepped down from the Test captaincy of New Zealand and their board decided to give it to their experienced pacer Tim Southee.<\/p>\n
Tim Southee is the new captain of New Zealand\u2019s Test team. The former Sunrisers Hyderabad\u2019s captain also wrote a message on his Instagram along with a picture. He posted himself along with the new Test captain Tim Southee.<\/p>\n

The role has taught me so much and I\u2019m grateful for the many experiences, but I feel the time is right for someone else to step in and take the team forward.
