The first ODI was a thrilling game but the greens took hold of the match by the end. Shakib Al Hasan\u2019s five-fer and Mehidy Hasan\u2019s critical innings recovered Bangladesh\u2019s poor mistake by middle and top order.<\/p>\n
The dominating blues consisting of senior players like Dhawan, Rohit, Virat, and KL Rahul have to score a fighting total, unlike the first ODI where team India was restricted to 186 runs.<\/p>\n
Though the Indian bowling unit made it a difficult win for Bangladesh, which earlier looked an easy walk.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s simple to think of the first game as an upset. In spite of the fact that Bangladesh is ranked seventh and India is ranked fourth, the visitors have a history of dominating in this format; they have actually won 30 of the 37 ODIs played between the two teams.<\/p>\n
Since October 2016, the hosts have not suffered a home loss in an ODI series. In the interim, they have easily defeated teams like Zimbabwe, the West Indies, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan, and they have appeared more at ease in a format they enjoy playing.<\/p>\n
After the first ODI \u2013<\/p>\n \u201cI have been involved in some amazing games with Bangladesh. We\u2019ve had some narrow wins and losses, but that (win in the first ODI) was as close as they come. It shouldn\u2019t have been that tight. When we needed 59 runs with four wickets down, we were in a pretty good position. By far, not the perfect performance.
