Since both players had previously represented India at the senior international level, the selection panel reportedly wanted to be certain about their eligibility.<\/p>\n<p>The two players were chosen for the ICC Women\u2019s\u00a0Under-19 World Cup after receiving approval from the ICC, who communicated with the Neetu David-led selection panel via the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).<\/p>\n<p>Shafali, who is only 18 years old, has already participated in 69 international matches (two Women\u2019s Tests, 21 WODIs, and 46 WT20Is). Richa, however, has participated in 42 international competitions (17 WODIs and 25 WT20Is). Although Richa is\u00a019, both were eligible in terms of age.
