Ganemat\u2019s remarkable achievements include winning a medal in the junior World Championships and a bronze in the World Cup, and she recently added a silver in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Darsha\u2019s bronze in Almaty was also significant, as it marked the first time India earned two individual medals in women\u2019s skeet at a World Cup.<\/p>\n
The men\u2019s skeet team for the Asian Games and World Championships comprises Anantjeet Singh Naruka, Angad Vir Singh Bajwa, and Gurjoat Singh Khangura, while veteran shooter Mairaj Ahmed Khan didn\u2019t make the cut.<\/p>\n
The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) considered scores from trials and international competitions in early 2023 for team selection. In the men\u2019s trap section, Prithviraj Tondaimal, Zoravar Singh Sandhu, and Kynan Chenai secured their places, while former World Champion Manavjit Singh Sandhu missed out.<\/p>\n
Among the women\u2019s trap shooters, Manisha Keer, Preeti Rajak, and Rajeshwari Kumari earned their spots, while Shreyasi Singh and Shagun Chaudhary were not selected.<\/p>\n
