He was reportedly running a high temperature and was administered intravenous drips for immediate relief.<\/p>\n<p>The report further stated that Abhishek has been admitted to a private hospital in Delhi, where medical tests are being conducted to assess his condition. A BCCI source told PTI that it remains unclear whether he will be discharged soon, but his availability for the Namibia match currently looks doubtful.<\/p>\n<p>The youngster missed India\u2019s training session at the <strong>Arun Jaitley Stadium<\/strong> on Tuesday. During the match against the USA, Abhishek was dismissed for a golden duck and did not take the field during India\u2019s bowling innings, with Sanju Samson fielding in his place. He was also absent from the post-match handshakes following India\u2019s victory.<\/p>\n<p>India assistant coach <strong>Ryan ten Doeschate<\/strong> provided a brief update on Tuesday, saying, \u201cAbhi still has a few issues with his tummy. We are hopeful that he\u2019ll be available for the game in two days\u2019 time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, ten Doeschate confirmed that <strong>Washington Sundar<\/strong> has joined the Indian squad ahead of the February 12 fixture against Namibia.
