The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has been criticized from Test and ODI head coach Russell Domingo for making so much ruckus that they feel\u00a0it hinders the players\u2019 development in the shorter format. The BCB recently decided to hand over control of the T20 setup to newly appointed T20 technical director Sridharan Sriram until the upcoming World Cup after Domingo\u2019s protracted losing streak, which included only two victories from the 13 games they played after the ICC T20 World Cup with one game being washed away.<\/p>\n
While BCB cricket operations chairman Jalal Yunus claimed that Domingo lacked aggression, BCB technical director Khaled Mahmud officially stated that Domingo\u2019s attitude did not suit them in the shortest format.<\/p>\n
Domingo opened up after BCB\u2019s comments on his performance as a coach<\/p>\n
\u201cEveryone has his own opinion and it was disappointing that they were telling it to others but did not tell me anything. I haven\u2019t read it but people came and told me. But I am happy with what I have done with the T20 team and I am not worried about anything,\u201d Domingo was quoted saying to a leading Bangladeshi Daily, Prothom Alo, on Wednesday. \u201cI won\u2019t say that I was shocked (after being snubbed) but as a coach, you have to be ready for everything and if the team is losing you cannot guarantee your future.
