Rohit Sharma will be leading the side without any doubt, and KL Rahul will be his deputy. Virat Kohli has been named back in the squad after a long time while Shreyas Iyer will be going as a standby player. Deepak Hooda, Dinesh Karthik, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja and Rishabh Pant will be the middle-order choices while Suryakumar Yadav will assist the other 3 senior members \u2013 Rohit, Kohli, KL, in their top-order survival.<\/p>\n
The bowling department consists of Ravichandran Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, Ravi Bishnoi, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Avesh Khan, and young talent Arshdeep Singh.<\/p>\n

Bumrah has a history of back spasms, according to sources with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the Indian team, and the selectors won\u2019t take a chance on exacerbating the condition by selecting him for the \u00a0Asia Cup.<\/p>\n
Bumrah last played for India in an ODI on July 14 at Lord\u2019s Stadium against England. Following that, he received a rest for the recently finished eight-match white ball series against the West Indies. \u201cJasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel were not available for selection owing to injuries.
