The fifth Test between England and India, initially slated for September 2021, is ready to take place on July 1, 2022. Following an agreement between the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB<\/a>) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India<\/a> (BCCI<\/a>), the series will resume with India ahead 2-1. The final Test match will now be played from July 1 at Edgbaston rather than Manchester.<\/p>\n

The T20I and ODI series between England and India has also been pushed back by six days due to the rescheduling. Now the T20I series will begin on July 7 at Ageas Bowl, while the ODI series will begin on July 12 at the Oval.<\/p>\n

Before the series getting rescheduled due to an outbreak of COVID-19 in the Indian camp, Team India was leading the series by 2-1. The series saw some exceptional performances.
