On Sunday, BCCI secretary Jay Shah has been appointed as a Member Board Representative to the ICC Cricket Committee.<\/p>\n
The most important decisions were made at the ICC Board Meeting in Dubai. The CEC agreed, in keeping with a recent suggestion by the ICC Men\u2019s Cricket Committee, that when travel restrictions are eased, more impartial match officials should be used, following the success of the use of home umpires.<\/p>\n
In Tests, one neutral and one home umpire will be authorised beginning in the 2022-23 season, while home umpires will be permitted in ODIs and T20s.<\/p>\n
The ICC Board of Directors agreed that South Africa will host the inaugural ICC U-19 Women\u2019s T20 World Cup in January of next year, among other decisions. The tournament will include 16 teams and 41 matches.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
