Former Indian pacer Ajit Agarkar has confessed his judgment on RCB\u2019s management and their thoughts. Ajit Agarkar in the \u2018IPL Auction Special\u2019 episode of the show \u2018Game Plan\u2019 opens up about the RCB\u2019s weakness of choosing players.<\/p>\n
Ajit Agarkar suggests that franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore should not focus on one player or top three but should invest to build a proper team of 12, 13, or 14 players. Ajit Agarkar stated that RCB focuses on buying their top 3 players and investing a lot of money in them which as a result the team is not able to buy enough middle-order batsmen as shortage of money in the team\u2019s purse leaves with no choice but to not buy enough players.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo if you break the bank for one player, doesn\u2019t matter how good he is, (he) will win you games but will never win you competitions,\u201d suggests former pacer Ajit Agarkar.<\/p>\n
Royal Challengers Bangalore have spent 33 crores on retaining their top three players. Virat was retained for the price of \u20b9 15 crores, followed by one of the best all-rounders Glenn Maxwell was bought at the price of \u20b9 11 crores, and Mohammad Siraj for \u20b9 7 crores.
