Tendulkar the former Indian Cricket Captain is the greatest batsman to play the sport. He is widely regarded as the \u201cGod of Cricket\u201d among cricket fans. Tendulkar was known for his incredible batting technique. He also scored the highest run in the ODIs as well as Tests. In his glorious career of 24 years, he created an abundance of records.<\/p>\n<p>Tendulkar, the pride and the face of cricket in India was being remained the backbone of the Indian Cricket Squad, for more than two decades. He collected several awards for his remarkable contributions to Indian Cricket. \u201cBharat Ratna\u201d which he received in 2014 on this day is his greatest individual achievement, among all the accomplishments and glory he received. On 4th February 2014, Sachin Tendulkar was conferred with a\u2019s highest civilian award \u201cBharat Ratna\u201d by the former President of India, the late Pranab Mukherjee.
