Netherlands pacer Vivian Kingma suffer a four-match suspension due to his unethical actions of ball-tampering with the ball during the ODI match against team Afghanistan.<\/p>\n
As per the ICC Code of Conduct, Vivian will be asked to not play the next four limited over games for team Netherlands as the actions justify level three of breaching under the ICC Code of Conduct. The decision was taken on Wednesday relating to the third One Day International, which happened in Doha on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
ICC\u2019s statement revealed that during the 31st over of Afghanistan\u2019s innings, the pacer Kingma tampered with the ball by scratching nails on the ball. Kingma in response accepted the guilt and agreed that the offence had been done. Acceptance of the action resulted in the four-match suspension, as per the match referee\u2019s suggestion. The match referee of the game was Wendell Labrooy.<\/p>\n
The Netherlands has also imposed a five-run penalty and also lost the match by a margin of 75 runs. Afghanistan won the series by 3-0. Vivian Kingma was able to take 2 wickets in 3 games, bowling 26 overs. The last wicket on 42.4 overs of Netherland\u2019s batting made the Afghanistan winners and the last wicket was none other than Kingma\u2019s.<\/p>\n
