While he was speaking about the rivalry of Ashes, Australia and England, he also spoke about some England Batsmen who he believed were great players in his playing days.

One player he appreciated was Former English’s Right-hand batsman Kevin Peterson. Kevin Peterson had played around 104 tests, 136 ODI’s, and 37 T20’s and scored over 13000 runs. Adding to that, he has also made 23 Test and 9 ODI centuries. He was recognized to be one of the best batsmen of his generation.

In 2005, Kevin Peterson made his Test debut whereas Jason Gillespie played his last Test in 2006. Gillespie emphasized how he is glad that did not have to bowl more to Kevin Peterson.

“I didn’t bowl enough against Kevin Peterson. I was probably past my best in 2005 when Kevin Peterson first came on the scene for England, so I didn’t get to bowl much to him, but I reckon had I bowled more to him, I reckon he would have more successes against me than I had against him. He was fine, fine batsman and I am probably glad I didn’t have to bowl more to him,” said Gillespie on TOI Sportscast.

Australian Cricket coach speaks about how he is glad of not bowling more to one the finest batsman, Kevin Peterson.

[2
2613,1040,1392,1331
post-3175","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-cricket","tag-australian-cricket","tag-england-cricket-board","tag-england-cricket-team","tag-kevin-pietersen
["GET
