He is a 16-time pro title winner which includes eight Asian Tour victories and a runners-up finish in the 2004 Johnny Walker Classic on the European Tour. The golfer from Delhi will be the most followed in Srinagar at the Royal Springs Gold Course for the next four days starting from Wednesday. Jyoti currently stands in 50th place in the PGTI Order of Merit.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from the 49-year-old golfer, the other professionals include the likes of Udayan Mane, the leader of the PGTI Order of Merit Karandeep Kochhar, international winners Khalin Joshi, Rashid Khan, Viraj Madappa along with the former champion\u00a0 Chikkarangappa S,\u00a0 Manu Gandas among the many others will be seen in action later this week.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe return of men\u2019s professional golf to the Kashmir valley gives us a great opportunity to showcase J&K as a golfing destination, said the secretary, tourism & culture department of Jammu & Kashmir Sarmad Hafeez as reported the Indian Express. \u201cWe look forward to a mutually beneficial partnership with the PGTI,\u201d he added<\/p>\n<p>The competition is part of J&K Tourism\u2019s initiative to promote the tourism of golf in the region.
