There have been a lot of talks going on about why Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) didn\u2019t retain Harshal Patel for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022.<\/p>\n
The Bangalore based franchise cricket team ahead of the IPL auction retained these three players namely Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell and Mohammed Siraj, but the Purple Cap winner of 2021 had no name on the list for retention.<\/p>\n
The 31-year-old Indian cricketer took 32 wickets and ended his IPL 2021 season being the joint-highest wicket-taker in a single season that also involves the name of Dwayne Bravo of Chennai Super Kings. The former captain of the West Indies Cricket Team had made this record in 2013.<\/p>\n
