After 2011, this will be the second time when the IPL governing body scheduled 74 games across the 10 teams.<\/p>\n<p>Lucknow and Ahmedabad franchises are two new teams added to the format. All the teams will 7 games at home and 7 games away from the knockout stage. Former KKR batsman Gambhir has already been appointed as the mentor for the Lucknow franchise stated by his owner Sanjiv Goenka.<\/p>\n<p>Ahead of the mega auction, KKR has released some of the quality players from the team.\u00a0 Shubman Gill, Eoin Morgan, and Rahul Tripathi have been released. But KKR has retained players like Sunil Narine and Andre Russell once again to provide a boost to the lineup.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in an interaction, asked Gill if there is one franchise for which he wants to stay with it forever. Gill addressed if ever the opportunity to make the choice he would like to play for KKR forever, reports PTI.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThe kind of communication and attachment with KKR franchise, it\u2019s really special for someone like me,\u201d Gill said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you play for the franchise you want to be the part for as long as you can.
