BCCI has decided to make another addition to the India A\u2019s squad for the tour of South Africa. This time, the change is happening not in the team but rather the coaching staff, as leg spinner Sairaj Bahutule gets appointed as the team\u2019s new bowling coach. He will join the likes of Saurashtra\u2019s Sitanshu Kotak, the team\u2019s head coach, and Assam\u2019s Subhadeep Ghosh, who will be the fielding coach for the tour.<\/p>\n
A report of TOI says that Bahutule, who has previously coached teams such as Vidarbha, Kerala, Bengal, and Gujarat in the past few seasons, is also confirmed as the spin bowling coach at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore. In 2017, he was the bowling coach of Rajasthan Royals and also worked with some of Australia\u2019s young talents at Cricket Australia\u2019s Center of Excellence in Brisbane. This means that Bahutule has some great experience under his belt, and it can come in handy for the likes of Krishnappa Gowtham and Rahul Chahar, who are currently a part of India A setup for the tour.<\/p>\n
In his short stint with the international team, Sairaj Bahutule played 2 tests and 8 ODIs. He picked up a cumulative total of 5 wickets in those 10 matches. His record in the domestic circuit is formidable.
