He is set to make a return for Delhi Capitals for the rest of the IPL that is going to resume in UAE which was postponed due to COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>The 26 years old who has represented India in 22 ODIs and 29 T20 Internationals suffered from a shoulder dislocation during an ODI against England in Pune. He had to go through surgery in the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBased on all medical and physical parameters, he is now ready to play matches This couldn\u2019t have happened at a better time with India\u2019s T20 World Cup campaign in two months,\u201d said a senior BCCI as per PTI<\/p>\n<p>This is a great time for Iyer to make a comeback as the World Cup squad for India is yet to be announced and also the big question in Delhi Capital\u2019s camp has raised about the leadership role whether they should continue with the backup of Iyer, Rishabh Pant who lead the side in the absence of Iyer or should Shreyas himself take the role.
