The Primer Minister tweets of appreciation during the Olympics was continued for their memorable performances at\u00a0 Tokyo from the ramparts of the Red Fort.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>He hailed the Olympians efforts during his address to the nation on the occasion of the 75th Indian Independence.<\/p>\n<p>At the breakfast meeting, it is learnt that PM Modi had a special chat with the Indian women\u2019s wrestler Vinesh Phogat who is currently suspended by the Wrestling Federation of Indian (WFI) for alleged indiscipline on the three separate chargers.<\/p>\n<p>Sources told Indian Express that the Prime Minister told Vinesh that he was not only fond of her grappling skills but also had great admiration towards her family\u2019s contribution to wrestling. He added to say that self-anger and dejection are emotions that need to be avoided by anyone, especially her knowing the grappler\u2019s current situation.<\/p>\n<p>Vinesh Phogat who has been issued a notice by the WFI that is headed by BJP Member of Parliament Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh on the account of three counts for not staying in the same room with her teammates, choosing to not train with the other Indian wrestlers and for not wearing the official jersey provided by the official kit supplier of the Team India. Vignesh had come out to accept 1 out of the 3 charges by stating that the jersey situation was an unintended error as she had used the official jersey to train in. The jersey was unwashed on the day of the bout leaving her no choice but to wear the Nike jersey she said.
