The Indian Para canoe athlete Prachi Yadav qualifies for the semifinals in the Women\u2019s VL2 Canoe Sprint event in the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games. Prachi is the first Indian athlete to compete in the Canoe event at the Paralympics. She made her debut in the canoeing sprint event in this year\u2019s Paralympic games.<\/p>\n
The first Indian Para canoe athlete performed exquisitely well in the heat 1 round of the Women\u2019s VL2 Canoe Sprint event. She finished in the fourth position in the first round. The 26-year-old who is from Bhopal took only 1 minute, 11 seconds to complete the Heat 1 round sprint. It was a massive display from the Para athlete who has paralysis below her waist. The canoe sprint event is played every year in the Paralympic Games. This year, Indians can also enjoy watching it as one of their girls is also participating in the event.<\/p>\n
