Wrestler Deepak Punia loses 4-2 in the bronze medal match against San Marino\u2019s Amine Myles. It was a good game for the Indian wrestler, but the last 10 seconds cost him a medal. Deepak was leading 2-1 till the last 10 seconds when he was taken down by San Marino\u2019s man. After the final whistle, the Indian coach challenged the decision but it didn\u2019t go in Deepak\u2019s favour.<\/p>\n
Punia got 2 points at the very early stage of the game. There was a time in the first half where Amine was really pushing hard to get the point, but Punia stood strong and defended well. Even after showing such a good defensive display he still gave away one point just before halftime. He was leading 2-1 at the break.<\/p>\n
As soon as the second half started, the Indian coach was continuously telling Punia to defend.\u00a0 He was looking a bit tired in the second half and didn\u2019t make a single attempt to secure some points as he had a clear strategy in his mind. His strategy to defend almost worked out but Amine did very well and made a comeback.<\/p>\n
