They had earlier beaten Great Britain 2-1 in their opener game.<\/p>\n<p>Rio Games bronze-medalists Germany dominated from the beginning and had most possession in the initial game while opponent Indians compelled their existence in the game gradually. Savita being in the proper position denied the first shot Germany had as she denied Franzisca Hauke in the ninth minute but this didn\u2019t stop them from leading. Three minutes delayed, Nike Lorenz supervised the ball past Savita after they got their first penalty corner followed by Schroder\u2019s goal to double for their side.<\/p>\n<p>Team India kept attacking but failed to go past the German team.
