On Tuesday, India\u2019s Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane said there is no need to take criticism of the spin-friendly pitches in the country \u2018seriously\u2019 as not a word is spoken about the \u2018damp\u2019 tracks some place other and England can expect another turner in the fourth Test. However, the fourth and final Test starts on March 4.<\/p>\n
Rahane said during virtual press conference, \u201cI think the wicket will be similar to the second Test match in Chennai, spinning track. Yes, the pink ball made the difference and it came much quicker off the wicket compared to the red ball and we had to make adjustments.\u201d<\/p>\n
He added, \u201cWicket will be a lot similar to the last two Test matches.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rahane said, \u201c\u2026You see, when we tour abroad, the 1st<\/sup> wicket is damp. When wicket becomes grassy and behaves up and down, then the pitch becomes dangerous but we haven\u2019t complained about it or we have never spoken about it.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWhen you play on spinning tracks, you have to play the line \u2026If the ball is spinning too much, you don\u2019t have to think much.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cPitch seems similar but I don\u2019t know how it\u2019s going to play. We have to wait and see,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cWe respect the England team and they are very good team. We played good cricket in the last two Test matches and England played really well in the first game.
