On Monday, Phil Jaques, coach of New South Wales (NSW) said that Australia opening batsman David Warner worked \u201creally hard\u201d to recover from the groin injury that he sustained in November last year.<\/p>\n
Warner\u2019s return to cricket was confirmed after he was named in NSW\u2019s Marsh one-day squad for Thursday\u2019s game against South Australia.<\/p>\n
Warner was replaced by Daniel Hughes while Nick Larkin was named Steve Smith\u2019s replacement for the match against South Australia.<\/p>\n
Jaques was happy to welcome Warner back in the team and said the opening batsman\u2019s experience will help the blues in the upcoming fixtures.<\/p>\n
Cricketnsw.com.au quoted Jaques as saying, \u201cWe all know Davey\u2019s quality as a player in all formats and it\u2019s great to see him back for the Blues for this game.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cHe has worked really hard on his recovery ad been great around the squad when he\u2019s been at training. It will be fantastic to have his experienced around the team over the coming weeks,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Earlier, Warner himself has revealed that he is going to return to play for NSW on March 4 while admitting that his groin will need treatment.<\/p>\n
