His inclusion came only after an <strong data-start=\"460\" data-end=\"507\">IPL franchise personally requested the BCCI<\/strong> to add his name to the auction pool.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"546\" data-end=\"966\">According to a Cricbuzz report, the franchise\u2019s request was approved after de Kock\u2019s stunning return to form, highlighted by his century against India in the Vizag ODI \u2014 an innings that is believed to have influenced his decision to reverse his international retirement. The Proteas star has now entered the auction with a <strong data-start=\"869\" data-end=\"897\">base price of Rs 1 crore<\/strong>, a sharp drop from his Rs 2 crore base at the previous mega auction.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"968\" data-end=\"1314\">De Kock is one of <strong data-start=\"986\" data-end=\"1005\">35 new entrants<\/strong> added to the final shortlist that BCCI released after removing 1,005 names from the original longlist.
