Veteran Delhi Capitals pacer Ishant Sharma scripted a remarkable comeback<\/strong> in Match 35 of IPL 2025 against Gujarat Titans after earlier being forced off the field due to heat-related dehydration<\/strong>. After bowling two overs for 14 runs, the 36-year-old had to walk off, visibly struggling under the harsh Ahmedabad sun.<\/p>\n

Despite missing key middle overs, Ishant returned in the 19th over to make an impact. On just his fifth delivery post-return, he removed South African batter Donovan Ferreira<\/strong> with a full toss outside off. Ferreira, who was brought in as an impact sub, could only manage 1 run off 3 balls before hitting it straight to Sai Kishore<\/strong> at covers.<\/p>\n

Who is Donovan Ferreira?<\/h3>\n

Donovan Ferreira<\/strong> is a right-handed batting all-rounder and wicketkeeper<\/strong> from South Africa. Born on July 21, 1998<\/strong>, in Pretoria, Ferreira currently plays for Easterns<\/strong> in domestic cricket and previously featured for Joburg Super Kings<\/strong> in SA20, where he fetched R 5.5 million (~US $310,000)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Although he hasn\u2019t made his international debut yet, Ferreira was acquired by Delhi Capitals in IPL 2025<\/strong> after earlier stints with Rajasthan Royals.<\/p>\n
