Punjab Kings (PBKS) pulled off a miraculous win against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 16 runs at Mullanpur, defending just 111 runs \u2014 the lowest total ever defended in IPL history<\/strong> in a completed match.<\/p>\n

After being bowled out for 111 in just 15.3 overs, PBKS needed something special. And their bowlers delivered. Marco Jansen, Yuzvendra Chahal, Arshdeep Singh, and Glenn Maxwell ripped through KKR\u2019s batting lineup, bowling them out for 95 in 15.1 overs<\/strong> despite a late scare from Andre Russell.<\/p>\n

Russell briefly revived KKR\u2019s hopes with two massive sixes off Chahal in the 14th over. But Marco Jansen had the last laugh as he bowled Russell in the 16th over, sealing a dramatic win.<\/p>\n

With KKR at 79\/8, all hopes rested on Russell. He smashed 17 off 11 balls before a thick inside edge off a Jansen delivery crashed into the stumps. Preity Zinta was seen celebrating jubilantly as her team created IPL history.<\/p>\n
