<\/p>\nVarun Dhawan expressed disappointment after a dog was kicked during a recent IPL 2024 match played on Sunday.\u00a0A dog barged into Gujarat Titans (GT) and\u00a0Mumbai Indians (MI) game in Gujarat. The dog escaped from the sides and made its way to the grounds. While a\u00a0prior video showed Hardik Pandey attempting to stop the dog, a new video has gone viral, showing the organisers hitting and kicking it.<\/p>\n
The video caused major outrage. Varun Dhawan, an actor and dog lover, also shared the footage on Instagram Stories, along with his reaction.<\/p>\n
He wrote, \u201cWtf a dog isn\u2019t a football. Also, the dog isn\u2019t biting or harming anyone. Regardless there has to be a better way.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new season of the IPL began last week. A star-studded opening ceremony took place in Chennai. Stars such as Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Sonu Nigam, and AR Rahman performed at the opening ceremony.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Varun made headlines last week when the first look at his upcoming series, Citadel India (aka Citadel Honey Bunny), was revealed. Honey Bunny is the Indian serial in the Citadel universe. Prime Video India released the teaser at a lavish ceremony on Monday, along with a tiny clip from a compilation of all the titles.<\/p>\n
Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan, the show\u2019s lead actors, were also present. Raj, DK, and Sita R. Menon wrote it. In addition to Varun and Samantha, it features Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Singh Parihar, Kashvi Majmundar, Saquib Saleem, and Sikandar Kher in prominent roles.<\/p>\n
