The series was scheduled to start on February 20 and it might get rescheduled following the development as said by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFollowing PCR Tests carried out on the Provisional Squad, which was preparing to take part in the National Team\u2019s upcoming tour of West Indies, Head Coach Mickey Arthur and Sri Lanka Player Lahiru Thirimanne have tested Positive for CVOID-19,\u201d the SLC said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>The PCR Tests were carried out for the 36-member provisional squad including the net bowlers. After the results came out, the two were shown positive for the coronavirus.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHi guys got the news that I\u2019m positive for covid 19. I have got zero symptoms and I still don\u2019t know where I infected the virus. But I have been informed authorities\u2019 necessary details to prevent it going to others. Stay safe people,\u201d Thirimanne tweeted. He will follow the government\u2019s guidelines regarding the isolation.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Hi guys got the news that I\u2019m positive for covid 19.
