Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have emerged as one of the best teams in the history of the Indian Premier League. They\u2019ve made the playoffs a record 11 times and won four titles in the cash-rich league. CSK\u2019s roaring success has been led by their captain, MS Dhoni.<\/p>\n

Dhoni has led them since the first edition, and after a brief hiatus in the previous edition when Ravindra Jadeja was seen leading the franchise, Dhoni took over the reins again after Jadeja\u2019s stint at the helm failed to produce the desired results.<\/p>\n

Dhoni has 4,978 runs at an average of 39.20 in 234 games, including 24 fifties. He has been the beating heart of CSK since its inception and is still going strong in his twilight years. Here are five incredible records held by Dhoni in the IPL that may stand the test of time.<\/p>\n

Suresh Raina\u2019s classic dominance during his prime show is well known among CSK fans, and with those power performances, Raina leads the list of most runs by a CSK player in the Indian Premier League.<\/p>\n

MS Dhoni is only 283 runs away from breaking Raina\u2019s record and will most likely become the CSK batsman with the most runs in his IPL career.<\/p>\n
