Jason was among the top potential players with the base price of \u20b92 crore.<\/p>\n<p>Jason Holder was a member of the Lucknow Super Giants squad in the previous edition but was released prior to this auction. The long \u2013 legged all-rounder can be an asset to any squad. His batting and bowling prowess in T20s is well-documented, and he has a stellar record in the format. In T20s, he has 1758 runs at a strike rate of more than 125. In his T20 career, he has also taken 197 wickets.<\/p>\n<p>Chennai Super Kings started off with a bid. It was a battle again between CSK and last season\u2019s finalist Rajasthan Royals. They both weren\u2019t giving up on the West Indies\u2019 all-rounder as they missed out on their number 1 target Sam Curran.
